Shell has recently launched the Shell Rimula R5 LE and R6 LM high performance heavy-duty diesel engine oils. As part of the launch gambit, Shell will be stopping at three designated rest areas along the North-South Highway between June 29 and July 7, 2012, to give drivers rest and respite.
However, due to the unpredictability of the highway, the two of the locations have now been changed. Below are the change of dates and rest area venues, do take note if you’re heading there:
- June 30 – Seremban (South-bound), originally Ayer Keroh
- July 7 – Tapah (South-bound), originally Juru
The Shell Rimula Hardworking Truck will be at the respective rest areas from late afternoon till night. The team will be serving truck drivers free snacks, drinks, toiletries, haircuts and a pool-table challenge where prizes await.
